We had our first snow of the winter last week and it has already disappeared. It was so beautiful while it lasted! What a mild winter we are having since last year's record snow falls! I went out and bought seeds for the birds to get them through the snow and was treated to so many beauties including, cardinals, woodpeckers, chickadees, juncos, nuthatches doves and blue jays…and many more. Watching them outside my window was such a treat…better then TV but of course I am easily entertained!

My favorite month is February! My Mom and I celebrate our Birthdays, there is Valentine's Day and Girl Scout cookies! I have been scouring my neighborhood for someone selling them…I know they're out there!!

Enjoy the Winter with your Quilting projects! I look forward to seeing everyone at my shows starting in March. The first crocus and daffodils will be here before we know it.
